Hope for Children is an international charity that passionately believes every child has the right to a happy, healthy and positive childhood. Over the years we have touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of children. By improving their access to education and healthcare, we are helping children build their confidence and self-esteem that will empower vulnerable children to believe that they can look forward to achieving a brighter future. We support children, young people and their families, all of whom would otherwise fall through the gaps left by larger agencies and governments. We understand that each country’s needs are different, so we work with local people to create local solutions to the challenges that children face in their communities. By working in partnership with existing organisations at a grassroots level, we are able to empower communities to increase their ability to give their children a happy, healthy and positive childhood. Hope for Children is still as relevant today as when it first started. One billion children continue to face extreme poverty every day. We know we cannot help every child in the world, but we are committed to ensuring that every child we do support is given the opportunity to experience a positive childhood.
