Friends of the Earth International is the the world's largest grassroots environmental network. We campaign on today's most urgent environmental and social issues. We challenge the current model of economic and corporate globalization, and promote solutions that will help to create environmentally sustainable and socially just societies. Our 2013 priority campaigns are: land grabbing, climate and biodiversity finance and corporate capture.
Organisations / agencies covered
It covers the national or regional projects of the 74 Friends of the Earth member groups funded by Friends of the Earth International. It does not cover the activities of our member groups that are funded by the groups themselves. It does also not cover the part of the international activities that are implemented by the International Secretariat.
Timeliness of Data
The projects will be published within 6 months after the financial commitment has been made. The full description and results will be published six months after completion of the projects.

Units of Aid
We define and publish our activities as projects. Something becomes a project when we enter into an agreement for a funded activity. This can be a national campaign, a project, a meeting, trainings etc.
